About Us
Founded in 1947 by Howard K. Dearborn, Dearborn Precision has led the way in deep hole drilling, machined tubular components and precision tubing. One of Howard's early accomplishments was to develop deep hole drilled components for the first U.S. Navy nuclear submarine. This groundbreaking work led to the development of machinery and processes that were later applied to commercial nuclear, aircraft and other components.

Capacity
With over 100 spindles and almost 100,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, Dearborn Precision has the capacity for large ongoing production orders.
Service
Our goal is 100% on-time shipments and accurate communication with customers. Our sales, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and accounting staff are networked with "Visual Manufacturing" planning and execution software.
Tooling Capabilities
While most manufacturers are waiting for purchased tooling, we are in motion designing and building our own tooling and fixtures. Our in-house toolmaking capabilities allow us to handle special part configurations that can't be produced with off-the-shelf tooling.
Programming Capabilities
Our CNC programmers are equipped with the very latest, solid modeling software available, and can work with most customer-supplied file formats. We are pleased to work with our customers on concurrent engineering and design for cost-efficient projects.
